AUTHOR
I am the author of seven books on New York History. Greenpoint’s Forgotten Past is the seminal guide to the history of the northern tip of Brooklyn. The Rise and Fall of the Sugar King deals with the creation of the Havermayer Sugar Empire and the creation of its Domino Refinery. Discovering Historic Greenpoint on Foot takes the reader on some two dozen themed walks through north Brooklyn. I also write for Irish America magazine, the Irish Echo and the New York Irish Roundtable History Journal. I am also a frequent contributor to Greenpointers.
